You are a Miracle of Nature

One of my favorite things to do is to spend time in nature.  At this moment I am privileged to be writing this while sitting on the patio of a deck at a beautiful African Lodge called Madikwe Game Reserve.  The past few days I’ve been on several game drives and seen elephant both adults and babies, lions, cheetahs, rhinoceros, antelope, hyena, wildebeest, jackal, warthog, zebra, buffalo, giraffe, crocodile and mongoose and a variety of raptors and birds too many to name.  I’ve also witnessed spectacular African sunsets and beautiful African sunrises and been in awe of the beauty of nature.

Having a knowledgeable and fun Game Ranger, Renain Venter, who has a wealth of information at his fingertips and enjoys describing and explaining a myriad of systems and behaviors in this wild and magnificent bushland, makes the experience all the more enjoyable.  Early morning drives before sunrise and afternoon drives to watch sunsets and have a few refreshing sundowners is peppered with game viewing, educational talks and laughter.  All in all, I am feeling relaxed and content and will be ready to come out of my brief mini-retirement and resume work full time in a few days.

The thing that has stood out for me above everything else is how exquisitely nature has been designed.  The smallest little eco system plays a big role in how well nature sustains herself.  The tiniest creatures have massive instincts built into them to survive and thrive.  Both large and small animals work with the laws of nature and the only time they do not work is when man interferes with the divine perfection of this amazing planet.

As humans, we are part of this divine intelligence. Sadly, over time we have been led to believe we are separate from nature.  Separation is the cause of man’s false belief that if we are to be all that we can be, we must find something “out there” to help us – a horrible idea that has been conditioned into almost every human being.  It’s as if who we are as part of nature is inadequate so we must seek something outside of ourselves or we won’t survive.  We’ve been taught that we are superior and not part of the natural world and this indoctrination is often the cause of pain and suffering.

This lie has been perpetuated through the media, books and education amongst other things.  In my opinion, it’s led to an incredible amount of fear and we are currently witnessing and often experiencing these feelings in our world today.  The idea that some so-called authority knows better than the divine and perfect system that’s built into you, is the worst kind of conditioning and a load of crap.

Like the perfect systems that exist in nature, we humans have been designed with a perfect system too and nothing, absolutely nothing can take it away from us, except if we believe it can be taken away and live according to that skewed belief.  Wisdom is that – knowing and trusting that what feels right to do next, is this divine system in action.

The last 4 months I’ve been fortunate to witness how perfectly this in-built system has guided me as I’ve trusted the promptings and nudges of my own inner wisdom.  Creating the Mindfit Coaching Academy has truly been a remarkably creative project for me and those that have supported me in my quest to serve in a bigger way.

If someone had told me that I would be facilitating the development of trainee life coaches through a Life Coaching School I would have laughed in disbelief.  Little did I know that I was being prepared for a time such as this.  Today as I write this I see the parallels between life and living according to the principles of nature as being one of the greatest gifts we have been given.  We simply cannot mess this life up because it’s been intelligently and divinely created with all the elements, animals and humans as part of it.  The system works according to universal principles.  For example, gravity works whether you choose to accept the gravity principle or not.

Are you in resistance to these principles?  Can you find an example in your own life where you are in resistance to what is actually happening?  Any situation that causes you pain or suffering will be something to notice as resistance.  The solution?  Simply notice it and allow the system to do what it’s designed to do – to auto self-correct so that you can shift to feeling better and that is the miracle of it!

Do you feel a bit better? If you do and you didn’t have to do anything to feel better except read this then use the feeling as confirmation of your inclusion in this divine and perfectly designed system that you’re a part of.  A miracle of nature!
